Flameworked Art Glass Bead Creations by Diana Dugina

In 1998 I was introduced to lampworking, and ever since then I have been mesmerized, enchanted, often times obsessed and curious about glass beadmaking.
You can read about the history of lampworking at the International of Society of Glass Beadmakers, and at the Corning Museum of Glass website.
The challenge of working with molten glass in an open flame with hundreds of colors each with their own alchemy and reactive qualities is fascinating.
Because each bead's creation is a blank canvas, and each glass manufacturer and color reacts different, the possibilities are endless, and therein lies the magic.
